Even a well-maintained setup can send warm e-liquid flying into your mouth if you skip basic care steps, and these messy incidents can leave a bad taste and even make you uncomfortable mid-session. Mind Your Puff Technique
Many sudden e-liquid bursts happen not because of a broken device, but because of how you draw on it. Taking extremely hard, fast pulls can push more e-liquid into the heating component than it can vaporize all at once, leaving excess liquid that gets sucked right into your mouth. Instead, try slow, steady draws that last 2 to 3 seconds, letting the heat turn the liquid into vapor evenly without flooding the core. You should also avoid drawing on the device when it is not activated, as this can pull unvaporized liquid through the airflow path and build up in the mouthpiece over time. If you notice a small amount of liquid gathering near the top after a few puffs, gently blow through the mouthpiece into a napkin to clear out any loose excess before it can get pulled into your next draw.
Keep Your Device Properly Filled and Sealed

When you add too much liquid past the marked level, it leaves no extra air space inside the tank, and even small changes in pressure can push liquid into the central airflow tube. After you finish filling, double check that all sealing rings are sitting flat and no threads are cross tightened when you screw the parts back together. If you have not used the device for several days, do not leave it fully filled sitting idle; empty a small portion of the liquid out before you set it aside to reduce the risk of slow seepage that leads to flooding later.
Maintain the Heating Component and Airflow System Regularly
A clogged or worn heating part can stop vapor from forming properly, turning liquid into messy splatters instead of smooth clouds. After every few days of use, take apart the device gently and wipe the bottom of the heating unit, the airflow slots and the inside of the mouthpiece with a dry cotton swab or soft paper towel.
